There have been many times in my life where I fear something. Whether it is a fear of a test, physical fear, or spiritual, I have found that if I take the time in that moment to say a simple prayer, God has the ability to calm my nerves and let me know He has everything under control. To be at a point where you have nothing to fear because of your full confidence in God's control over your life puts you in a mindset that you can change the world. God is then able to use you in the ways that He has already and originally planned. God wants to use us in a manner that is holy and pleasing to Him, so that is the way that we should be acting.
Verse 5 is one of my favorites in the chapter. To be able to have so much confidence in what you are doing that you will never be covered with shame is amazing. There is only one way this is possible, and that is if you fully devote your life to following God and His plan for you. How great a day it would be to walk around with no shame at all in what you are doing, what you look like, what choices you have made, and what future lies ahead of you. Similar to verse 2, all people should be able to see the joy you have in your life by the way you are carrying yourself in everyday life and scenarios.
God is a provider. He is able to fulfill every need that we could possibly have. It is very easy to try and find fulfillment in other things in this world (money, looks, abilities, etc.), but God is able to provide for those needs beyond what we can comprehend as long as we let him. Seeing God provide for my life in many different ways makes it hard for me to realize when I have been looking somewhere else for that fulfillment. He has a calming effect that never fades or falters, we are always able to lean back on Him.
We are protected by our Father...he is always watching over us.
